Sweet and Spicy Bourbon Mustard

This small-batch, zingy mustard is amazing on pork or beef, and if you like it spicy, on a sandwich! It will embolden whatever you serve it with and makes a wonderful housewarming or hostess gift. This is a complex recipe and it requires a time-consuming cooking process. The results are worth it!

Here are the ingredients:
Mustard (vinegar, water, mustard seed, salt, turmeric, paprika, garlic powder)
Cane sugar
Vinegar
Maker's Mark Kentucky bourbon (80 proof)*
Chopped fresh jalapenos
Chipotle peppers (chipotle peppers, water, tomato puree, vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic)
Corn starch
Dry mustard
Turmeric
Chili powder
Fresh-squeezed lime juice

*The alcohol is added at the beginning of the cooking process and the alcohol cooks off, so there is no alcohol remaining in the finished product, just the amazing flavor.
