Wild Plum Curry Sauce

Wild plums are probably my favorite wild-harvested fruit of 2022. They are tiny, versatile, and delicious. 

This sauce is amazing on pork or beef or if you're adventurous, make a curry! It brought amazing flavor depth to Instant Pot chicken legs. It will embolden whatever you serve it with and makes a wonderful housewarming or hostess gift. This is a complex recipe and it requires a time-consuming cooking process. The results are worth it!

Here are the ingredients:
Jefferson County wild plums
organic Medjool dates
fresh ginger
cane sugar
fresh-squeezed lime juice
salt
cumin
coriander
fenugreek
fennel
black pepper
cloves
cinnamon
chili powder
turmeric
cayenne pepper

This fruit is completely seasonal and I won't be able to make this again until September 2023, so plan accordingly!
